Trucking Efficiency is an initiative set up by the North American Council for Freight Efficiency (NACFE) and the Carbon War Room (CWR) that aims to double the efficiency of the North American trucking fleet by eliminating barriers to information, demand, and supply. To support better, more-informed decisions around efficiency solutions, we are actively delivering the following for improved information and data transparency.

A series of publicly-available Confidence Reports that assess current technologies, discuss challenges and best practices for their adoption, and provide figures on performance gains and payback periods, along with a multitude of datasets from industry testing. Confidence Reports on tire pressure systems, idle-reduction solutions, 6x2 axles, automated transmissions, and engine parameters are currently available on our website, with Confidence Reports on tires, down-speeding, maintenance and other technologies in progress.
